This privacy film is exactly what I needed for my office windows! The sun would glare in in the mornings and also around 4-5pm when it was going down despite the blinds that were already installed. I priced having someone come in and install a privacy film for me and it was way out of my budget so I got a few friends together one weekend and we were able to do both windows with 1 roll. They look great and do the job of blocking the sun very well. I can see outside still but you're only able to see inside when the sun goes down and I'm usually out of the office at that point. We followed the instructions and also watched a couple YouTube videos prior to attempting to install. Lots of water is needed so that's very important to follow. This is a non permanent and affordable way to block the UV Ray's and it also gives the window a nice look.
This film worked out really well & did exactly what I needed it to. One of our kitchen windows has a great view we didn't want to block with blinds of curtains, but we still wanted a bit of privacy when the meter reader guy is near the window or the neighbor is out in his side yard during the day. This film was pretty easy to install with a regular razor blade and a straight edge (I used a metal ruler). I used a shower cleaning squeegee and the whole install was done in less than 30 minutes. It probably took me longer to clean off the counter top before and after than the actual work of installing the film. The view from the inside is a bit darker than before, but that was just an added bonus, since the sun can really beam in that window in the morning.
I really like the light tinting on this reflective Glass Tint. It reflects the sun and now my office isn't boiling hot. It does offer just the right amount of tinting, not too dark at all. You CAN see into the house at NIGHT - which isn't a worry since I do have blinds. It's a little daunting to install but once you have the hang of it - sky's the limit. I love this and can't wait to put in on the windows in the cottage.
This works amazing , it keeps the sun out and gives you the privacy you are looking for ,but its a big pain to put on youre window .My advice have some of that white painters tape on hand so you can attach it exactly where u need it before you actually start applying it
So super easy to to put up. I would suggest to have someone that CAN cut straight so the cutting. U can not lol but I am fine with that. I must remeber to order more. Overall this lets enough light in where it fits not bother us.
